If you are thinking about booking with us at Epps Photography here is a little insight into our Wedding booking process.
We usually get enquiries through our website or via email. The very first step we take is
for the happy couple to fill in the following form. The reason we require this information is to tailor a quote specifically for the couples wedding day. Every couple is different, which is why there is not a one package fits all solution when it comes to weddings.
Once we have received all the required information we check the wedding date is available. If it is, we design a package. We offer a range of services for weddings, half or full day photography, additional photographers, pre wedding shoot & product photography. Depending on which services you would like will determine the quote. We also factor in the location. If the location is 30+ miles outside of Nantwich we charge a small fee for transport costs.
We send the quote off via email which lasts for 7 days. During this time we tentatively block out the wedding date to ensure no one else books in the time the couple are deciding. If they are happy with the quote & would like to book with us (hooray) we will write up the wedding contract & send over the invoice. Majority of weddings require a £200 deposit however as stated previously every wedding is different so this may change. Once the deposit has been paid & the contract is returned we then create the booking within our system. I will sign the contract & send it back to the couple for their reference.
Three months prior to the wedding we will send you a pre-wedding questionnaire which asks all the nitty gritty details we need to know to capture your wedding perfectly.
Three months before the big day be we require 50% of the overall fee to be paid. Two weeks prior to the wedding we like to meet at the wedding venue to go over the final details & ensure we capture every element. We go over the running of the day & timings to ensure I don’t miss a thing. The week of the wedding the remaining balance is due. The wedding should be paid in full prior to the wedding day.
The wedding day!
I will be at the venue at least half an hour prior to the arranged time just to prepare myself for the day. As I have already met the couple & have the itinerary for the day there is no need for them to stress or even worry about where I am & what I am doing. My style of photography is candid & reportage. I like to capture everyones natural reactions to things throughout the day. I am always up for a laugh & try my best to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I don't watch the clock throughout the event, if you have booked a full day then I will be there until the wedding finishes.
The day after the wedding I upload the raw files to my computer. We aim to have all images edited & ready to be sent out within six weeks. Each couple will be given a time frame as during peak periods this may differ. During the editing process we send a sneak peek & upload it to our social media platforms. Once the collection is completed we create the wedding album online. This gallery is password protected, we email the link directly to the couple for them to share with family & friends. We also place the images on a USB & either met or post it to the couple.
